  1. Here are some Disk Icons to spruce up your disk collection.  To put
  2. one of these Icons on one of your disks type
  3.  
  4.   copy Name.info DF?:Disk.info
  5.  
  6. Example.  If you have a disk of artwork and you want to give it an
  7. artwork disk icon make sure your current directory is set to the
  8. directory you have all these Icons in.  Put the disk with the
  9. artwork in drive DF0: and type
  10.  
  11.   copy Art2.Info DF0:Disk.info
  12.  
  13. If you only have one drive you will have to type the name of your
  14. disk instead of DF0:
  15.  
  16. Example.  If your disk is named "MyArtWork" you should type
  17.  
  18.   copy Art2.Info MyArtWork:Disk.info
  19.  
  20. If the name of your disk has spaces in it you should put double
  21. quotes around its name.
  22.  
  23. Example.  If your disk is name "My Art Work" you should type
  24.  
  25.   copy Art2.Info "My Art Work:Disk.info"
  26.  
  27. After you copy the icon, inorder to see it you will have to remove
  28. the disk.  Wait for its old Icon to disappear from the WorkBench and
  29. then reinsert the disk.   If the Icon won't disappear you will have
  30. to reboot to see the new icon (Note: The reason Icons don't always
  31. disappear from the WorkBench is this.  Icons don't disappear if your
  32. Amiga still has any knowlegde of the disk you just removed.  This
  33. means if you have "opened" the disk or one of the drawers on the
  34. disk and have not "closed" it, the disk's icon will not disapper. 
  35. Also if you have your path set to anything on that disk or anything
  36. is assigned to that disk or any program that is running has a file
  37. open on that disk then its Icon will not disappear from the
  38. Workbench.)

  40. I have included a brush with all the icons shown with their names.
  41. It is a standard IFF brush that should be showable with any IFF file
  42. viewer.
